What are they eating.
 

I went squirrel hunting today where I deer hunt. I found alot of deer poo. And most of the time it was runny. What is it that they eat that makes their poo like that?

Jalapeno nuts?:D:D mostly nuts branches and twigs. among other things, diet changes cause it to be runny.

I saw 4 doe's sucking up dry brown leaves like a bunch of vacuum cleaners on Friday. They eat what ever they can find from now till spring!

I'm not sure about the runny part.

I know now that the snow is melted and probably for a week before it snowed, all I've seen them eating is grass. They have been loading up on grass.

I've got a white oak, a persimon tree and a food plot all with in sight of the front porch and all I've watched them spend hours right out in the lawn where I mow, eating grass.

It must be the ' low carb" diet they put themselves on as a New Years resolution.;)
