5 pt - a brighter picture

Looks like it was taken from a tree stand, but I was just on a bit of a hillside. He was hidden by the branches in the foreground for about 35 minutes while I waited for him to come closer. But he knew something wasn't quite right and finally headed off back up the trail. My arms were about dead after holding the camera up for that long.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong today, but can only seem to come up with a link rather than a direct picture.

Always love seeing any buck shots. Opened 'er up and saw a 10 pointer! You western boys with your 5 pt. talk ;) I thought it was a 5 x 5 :D

Nice pic anyway. I guess you didn't have a bow in hand or it's off season?

He'll be a monster in a couple years if you just keep taking pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jimbo. What was I doing wrong?

You guys are right - the season is finished here. But this was in my back yard anyway, which is off limits for hunting (self imposed).

OntElk, I do hope I can take pictures of him for a few years. It would be great to see the changes from year to year.

nice buck though. Haven't seen on of those around here. Me and my cousin is trying to manage his land. We have some good pics of at least 4 six pointers. We are trying to give them a couple of years
