with respect to NYS this is where i got my #s
http://www.dec.state.ny.us/website/d...html#Baglimits
i did forget about the DMP however
i interpret that chart as meaning
1 of either sex in the regular season
1 of either sex in the bow/muz season
1 doe in the bow/muz season
1 doe with the DMP
there are some exceptions as noted in the right hand column

In Montana, if you could travel to and fro across the state, you could take a buck with rifle or bow (two if you draw a special bow buck tag), 5 whitetail does with bow, and a whitetail doe and a muley doe with rifle. Total would be 9 deer.

In South Alabama its about 200 total legal deer per year. Two a day every day of the season that starts in Oct and goes to the end of Jan.

johnnch you got that all wrong for ohio. you better get those regs out and study. you can legally kill 3 deer in ohio. 1 buck NO MATTER WHEN WHERE OR HOW and 2 "antlerless" ( less than 3"). with urban deer zones you can kill an additional 5 with the proper urban permits. here is a link with a quick over view of the bag limits. this is why people get ticketed, fined and jailed. IGNORANCE OF THE LAW IS NO EXCUSE TO BREAK IT. check out the link if you dont beleive me.

In the counties I hunt season runs 08/14/04 thru 01/01/05. On private land no limits on bucks, 16 doe days with a 2 per day limit, plus access toadditional doe tags.
On WMAs, there are some units that have up to 45 doe days but maximum of 8 deer from the same unit. Hard to say exactly how many I could kill, I usually stop at 3 a year.

either 4 doe( 3 doe permits and usin your buck tag as a doe tag (legally) during late muzzleloader) or 3 doe and a buck (3 doe permits and a buck tag that comes with you license) might i add that you have to apply for the doe permits on a first come first serve basis. usually u dont get 3 doe permits
