The Best and Worst of Tred Barta.
 

Another topic got me thinking about the so called Professional Hunters out there. I think Tred Barta is a pro, i like him. What does everyone else think?

I have seen his show.... I don't know, something is just different about him. Maybe I don't care for his style or attitude. I actually flipped it off and watched something else. He just comes across as pompous and way too full of himself.

I too watched his show when he was Tuna fishing solo! Impressive!

I watched the solo Tuna catch. The guy is very intense and appears to multi talented in his pursuit of game.

Having said that - He is a friggin crazed maniac. I don't see his show lasting very long. It's the same ole - same ole crazy Barta every show. Gets Old Fast.

I think that big ole 1st mate he has on tuna trips is gonna get tired of his crap and body slam his butt. No more T. Barta

I watched a few times. He tells it how it is and does it his way. I like it.

Yea he is very intense and crude. Thats why i like him personally, he just tells ya how it is. He has a show he was shooting flushing pheasants with his bow, and he stalked a doe with his son hunter and killed her with his long bow after like 76 attempts. They show the real hunter and the real situation.

I too watched the solo tuna trip and was green with envy. What a boat. The guy is a heck of an offshore fisherman. I think the reason he comes off as brash to some people is because he's a yankee. Living in a densly populated city will do that to ya! Folks down south think thats bad behavior. Up there its pretty common to be brash. OK I just started the next North vs. South conflict. I'll shut up now.
