He was 75 yards away and going into the woods when I got him. I had been watching him for about 5 minutes, but he never gave me a shot. Only when he turned slightly to the left to go down a trail into the woods and out of sight did I finally get a quarter shot on him. I was really worried that I wasn't going to get a shot on him at all. I had passed up a yearling doe about 20 minutes before he came out. I told myself I was going to wait and see if I could get a rack buck.
