different people, different scents

So, I was pondering this on my drive home from Michigan last weekend, do you think different people have less luck with deer because each and every person has their own scent? I know people who's body scent (and I'm not talking body ODOR LOL) is different, like, it's proven that you are attracted to someone partially because of their personal scent and the pheromones or whatever their body gives off...

We all know deer have a keen sense of smell, hence all of the Scentlok clothing and whatnot, but do you think certain people's scents are so much stronger that the deer catch more wind of it?

I know people who have hunted for 40 years and never gotten a nice buck, likewise are unlikely to get a deer but every 5 years or so, then there are others, like myself and my boyfriend who see TONS of deer every time we go to our stands. I just wondered if anyone else had considered this or anything.

ahhhhhhhhhhh that's how I ended up dating my first girlfriend. We saw eachother across the hall at school and started sniffing eachothers skin :D:D It was love at first smell!! She dumped me when I started wearing cologne.

But anyway... I think if you are not careful with ANY kind of human scent, your chances for deer encounters decrease rapidly. As far as one person naturally smelling less appealing to a deer than another given the same conditions? I suppose it could be. A lot may have to do with diet and what they are sweating out of their pores. However I would have to say that there are other factors at hand that are attributed to the lack of deer such as no scent control, movement, wind, etc.... If there is truth to the scent theory of humans I would have to believe that it is a small percentage in the overall picture of seeing deer.
Interesting topic I would like to see what others think.

Nah, I was pondering why in the world I see deer every time I go out, and have gotten a deer opening weekend for two years in a row (my only two years hunting), and then I was thinking about other's I know that hunt that rarely see a deer or whatever, just made me wonder...

I wasn't eating cabbage, I was eating a Snickers. :)
