It might be that he didnt print the pics because of legal issues. Not sure but it might be
illegal to print someones pic in the paper without permission even though it appears that
they are stealing.
Would be great though, I would loved to seen the look on his face!!

My son's (14 yr) stand was stolen last week. He worked for and bought it with his own money. I left a note on the tree but I'm not to optimistic about getting it back.

Good luck with your son's stand.

It's in an area that many of the neighborhood people walk through. We have permission to hunt it the owner has never put up posted signs so it's one of those spots that will get visitors,if you know what I mean.

Hope he nails the guy for it. LeeinVA1, sorry to hear about you losing those cams. How can anyone call themselves a hunter when they pull crap like that. No respect at all for someone else's property. Charlie P, that is pretty harsh when a young guy saves his money, buys something, and then has it stolen. If nothing it was a lesson that even in the woods not all can be trusted but not the sort of lesson that a youngster should have to learn. Unfortunately, it's pretty tough to guard against that sort of thing and the acts of a few morons really ruin it for the rest of us at times.

I left a pair of boots in my ground blind a couple years ago when I went in to eat lunch with my brothers. I concealed the boots behind a log and covered them with grass. I went back out after lunch and sure enough my used boots were gone.
Lesson learned:
Some people will steal ANYTHING in the woods that isn't chained and locked. If it is chained and locked, they come back with bolt cutters later and take it anyway.

I hope the guy does have pictures and nails the SOB.[:@] A couple years ago someone stole mine, my son's, and a buddy's stand off of private land. Last year someone stole my son's climber when he left it to go get a bite to eat. He came back a couple hours later and it was gone. Really ruins a guys afternoon.
