ARKANSAS TEEN BAGS A 25-POINT BUCK
Kylan McCutcheon has bragging rights. Kylan will probably have bragging rights for a very long time.
Most deer hunters would be happy. Make that VERY happy to have an 8-point, 10-point, or the very rare 12-point buck.
The 16-year-old student at Jasper High School bagged a 25-point buck during the opening week of deer season. The deer is one of the largest ever taken in Arkansas during an opening weekend.
Kylan was in a ground blind when he spotted the huge buck chasing a doe.

RE: 25 pointer
some kids may have all the luck, but now what does he have to look forward to? I mean, that rush for the deer will still be there, but his chances of topping that buck are very slim.
in arkansas, we're beginning to see the effects of the three-point rule really grab hold. a kid in my class said (not sure if its true) that they offered 24,000 dollars for the deer and he got a new '05 chevy out of it. but i dont know if that's true. so if its not, then i warned you.
