New Use For A Old Christmas Tree
I got to thinking what I could do with a old artifical Christmas tree.
If you don't have one you can get one at yard sales for not much. And bingo. You could use it ( the limbs ) on blinds and tree stands, All you have to do is drill some small holes ( cordless drill ) and just stick the limbs on the holes. Since there wire and plastic most of them the pine needles wont turn brown like real ones. So what do you think of my Idea ? jrbsr |

Don't the shiny ornaments, tinsel and flashing lights scare the deer away? ;)
Popcorn on a string could also be considered baiting... so read your regs. :D |
RE: New Use For A Old Christmas Tree
Already have those decorations on 2 of our shooting houses... they work well.. we mixed in some natural browns to ease the very green limbs...

I wouldn't go drilling holes in a treestand. zip tie or bungy them on, drilling holes is dangerous.
