Default Can i eat this deer?

I shot a deer yesterday that was limping badly. When i recovered the deer i discovered it was missing the lower section of the rear leg(just below the "knee joint").The wound seems to be very old and healed over completly. Other than that the deer seems to be heathy. My question is if the meat appears to be ok can i eat his deer. If yes, should i eat the injured leg or just discard it and eat eat the rest? Thanks.

If it's completley healed over there should be no problem eating it.

Well I ate this deer and it tasted good and I'm still alive. The one leg was shorter and all messsed up looking.

when I find something on the floor, if it looks good, I dust it off and keep it.
