Default first buck

well, i layed the ol' smackdown to a fork horn. A huge body, that can barely be lifted a foot off the ground by my father and I. Pretty nice looking forks, but seem out of porportion to the body. Last day of deer season for me, and it steped out, so i cracked off a shot and looked up just in time to see it fall over (sideways). That was that.

I am pretty excited, i have only have two does to my name, until now!!!

here's a pic of my first normal buck. My true first was a cowhorn spike several years ago. I got away from hunting while in college, and this is my first season back in full swing. I took this one sat. morning.

I will takes some pics of it hanging tonight with my digital camera. The body is very large, but the antlers are really small. I wonder what it might score??? lol

Congrats on the buck. I shot the sane style. Fork horn with good body mass and alot of meat. I do not eat the horns!
