hunting on slopes
What's your advice regarding whitetail hunting from a tree stand on a cedar-covered slope? Position higher on the slope looking down on creek/valley or set stand lower on the slope looking up between the cedars? Southern facing slope during the midday hunt? I would appreciate any tips from your experience.

RE: hunting on slopes
I would find a trail(s) and hunt near there . If I can I try to be bow range from the bottem.
But don't be scaired of a up hill shot from your stand.
