Busted by deer, how long and how far?

When your busted by a deer (doe hissed/huffed at me) how long is that area bad news and how far does the bad news travel? Should I just then move somewhere else? Wait it out? Go running after them (hehe, just a joke). Seriously though, what's your input?

What she did is called blowing, and you can pack it in when that happens. She signaled all surrounding deer that something is not right. Your lucky though because it was a doe, and it just ruined your hunt that day. Wait a few days and go on back in there. If it was a buck of with a few years of experiencer older then he probaly would not come back this season. Hope I helped.

I got busted by 2 does last year in a cut corn field. I figured I may as well pack it in and about 15 minutes later an 8 point came walking in on my scent trail (deer piss on my boots.) Its hard to say, depending on how hard your deer are hunted. Keep at em either way.
