droppings in scrapes

I was hunting this weekend a spot I had scouted a while back, lots of rubs and scrapes. I came back this weekend and every scrape (7 of them) had a big pile of droppings in them. Has anyone ever seen this? A buddy suggested it may be two bucks fighting over the same territory and the other one is trying to mask his scent in the scrapes. what do you think?
I didn't see a buck Saturday, shot a doe Sunday morning. (south Arkansas)

Very common, could have been either a doe or a buck doing it.

yeh timber is right ive seen does crappin in scrapes several times theyll piss in there quite often too. its a mating thing!!!
