Funny gun story
 

My buddy just went to a shotgun deer hunt he was drawn for in ohio. He ened up shooting a half rack buck and a doe. Here is the funny part. He shot at the buck 9 times hitting it six times. He was chasing the buck through the woods shooting like crazy because it didnt fall. 4 of the shots were in the vitals and were only inches apart but still. He thinks he is a great hunter too. haha made me laugh

...sounds like a great hunter to me. Hopefully the trees are still standing! Also, make sure your buddy hunts in a heavily wooded area at ALL times!

hahaha i asked him if he wanted hambergers for the ride home or something. He said shut up im proud of myself I hit it 4 times in the vitals.

You let me know where you can find a shotgun that holds 9 shells. So i'm to beleive , he shot 3 shells , and then reloaded , twice more ( 3x3 =9 ) and still was able to chase the deer ? PLEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEE

I have seen people miss nine shots at running deer, but I have never seen a deer take 6 slugs. The funny thing is, usaully the worst shot in the group is also the fastest reloader![&:]

Wow he beat my record. The best I had done was 3 for 3 hits with two to the vitals before he went down. He must be a great hunter because he hit it 6 times and 4 to the vitals. Someone buy that guy a single shot, and quick.

Maybe he brought 6 shot instead of slugs :D

Dang slugman,
most of the shotguns around here hold 5 shells and tube extensions are readily avaiable than can extend magazine capacity to 7 or 9 shots.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think your buddy needs to spend a little more time at the range. Sorry, but I just don`t think it is funny.

ya he is crazy . He had a plug and only had three shells at a time, but he kept reloading and chasing. I swear I saw the bulletholes

You might mention to your friend that sitting and letting a wounded deer walk off to lay down and die is almost always better than chasing it and blasting away. Although if he's a good hunter he already knows that :)
