I agree with pocomoke and piketipper--first--do not take your safety off until you are ready to shoot--that's how hunting accidents occur. The best way to get in an area where you'll be alone or relatively alone is to go where others won't--further from the roads--hike in a mile and you won't see anybody. As far as a confrontation--its always better to walk away--no animal is worth it--well maybe a few

I'm the only girl in my hunting party but I've shot some of the biggest bucks in our party. At school all of the guys are crazy around me because I hang out with guys all the time and I'm such a rebel. but I'ts fun to be in that kind of envirnment where you are the only different one. I love it!!!!:D:D;)
