Does anyone use the scent glands from a buck

Well, i just had a great morning. I killed a nice 10 point 155 lb buck at around 0830. Very nice looking deer and it was a great hunt. I hate when your half asleep and those big suckers just slip in and scare ya half to death :)...
My question for you all is , Does anyone use the scent glands from the back legs. I decided to try this so i cut them out. I dont know how to preserve them so i can try them in my next hunt. Does anyone on here use them and if so can you give me some tips and advie on how to preserve the glands and also tips on how to use them.
Thanks in advance

Most folks put the tarsals in a mason jar of the buck's urine and freeze it for next year . The urine is thawed and allowed to "steep" like tea before use in a fridge . Drives the boys nuts in a mock scrape !

Yep I use them and the does also. Infact I have a doe tarsal tied to a branch right now over a scrape

I use the glands and any urine I can get from the bladder.
