New To The Sport - Looking for a Mentor
 

Like WhiteKnight, I'm totally new to deer hunting. I've spent a great deal of time in the woods and have done some turkey hunting when I was younger but because no one in my family deer hunts, I was out of luck. My grandfather is an outdoorsman but never was a hunter, instead he tought me to bass fish.

I'm originally from central Florida, I'm now living in central Arkansas (attending college) but I'm willing to travel just about anywhere in between if someone would be willing to spend some time showing me the ropes. I'm a fast learner and I respect what God has given us.

I'm almost 22, have my own guns, and gear for the most part (i'll buy whatever you tell me to get if i don't have the right stuff).
