Don't know where you are located, but old log ramps make good places to plant food plots. It is hard to beat a blend of wheat, rye, and oats. You can come back and lightly sow some clover like Euchee Arrowleaf or some other type. Put about 150 pounds of 13-13-13 out when you plant your seed. I would plant it ASAP. Next spring do an inexpensive soil test on your planting areas and adjust the lime recomendations accordingly.
