Smoke Poll Season Success
Well here in Georgia the smoke poll season has arrived. Saw between 20-25 deer all weekend between large does and small bucks. I also helped control the mosquitoe population by kill atleast a 100 in my deer stand while hunting, yeah lots of fun, so Sunday morning i decided to go ahead and lay one out and shot a 110 lb doe at 12 yard, man what a rush and a fun hunt. Had to share another quick hunting story, good luck and GOD bless to all of ya.

Our muzzleloader season is not until Mid December. One good thing, there will be no bugs or ticks in South Dakota in December. You also have no worry about the meat not cooling down as it should be well below freezing every night by then. Last year the weather was about perfect with day time temps about 40 and night temps in the lower twenty's. Our muzzle loader season is for antlerless deer only and runs from mid december until the end of Jan. Sounds like you did well. Lots of good winter eating. I have two tags for that season.

Congrats trophy. I also hunted last weekend in Jasper county, but it is public land so you are lucky to even see a deer. I scared up a couple by walking around, so I guess I need to start staying put.
Firearm season next weekend.. but unfortunately it is buck only on the public land. I always seem to see does on opening weekend.
