243 win ,270 win I used on deer,antelope 30-30 I have used on deer. just three of the guns mentioned .

.243-mule deer doe, whitetail buck.
Didn't care for it. No blood trail on eather animal or the doe my daughter shot with it. I think it will be a coyote gun from now on. It has the power to be a deer killer but I think there are so many better (that make a hole right through) to choose from.

Duffy if you reload go to barnes bullets and you will find a big difference .I shot a nice buck with one this year and it broke two ribs and the right shoulder for a complete pass through at 208 yds .Not bad for a 243 win in my opinion

Sako 270. I've shot many deer and one wild hog and have never had to track any of the deer. Good bullets and careful shot placement go a long way with whatever type gun you use.

12 gauge - duck, squirrel, rabbit, crow.
Bow - 0 (so far)

.270 Blacktails Mule Deer Elk California Bighorn.
Love that .243, With good bullets and proper placement I would use it on anything on this continent except those big Alaskan bears.

270 lots and lots of deer.Ive killed 4 deer this year and 1 hog.

I have a .243 win. I have shot 3 bucks with it and 3 does. The 3 bucks and one doe dropped where they stood. The other 2 does went about 15 yards and stopped so I shot them again and they dropped. I didn't backtrack the first one so I didn't check the blood trail but the other one left a heavy blood trail. The bullet blew through her. I love the gun.

.243 my most favorable rifle to hunt deer with. I've killed more CA and ID mule deer (some white tails too) with that caliber than any other load. I've also killed a wild boar with one shot (Winchester super-X 100gr SP). Right into the &quot;sweet spot&quot;, taking out a lung and the heart. Lots of mush/pulp internally with that bullet.

30-30, several mule deer within 100yds, and 3 black bears. All using Remington 170gr SP core-lokts.

270, several deer, 1 black bear, 1 elk, and 2 pronghorn antelope. I also brought it with me to south america as a back up gun on a red deer hunt. (primary gun for that trip was a .300win mag).

Don't own any 7mm's in my collection. ONe day I will. Just got other guns I NEED first... <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle>

270 Win deer, hogs.
7mm-08 I refuse to own any 7mm period.

My son shoots a 7mm08- shot mule deer and whitetail deer with it.
243- shot whitetails and antelope
270- shot whitetails, muleys, elk and antelope.

.30-06 deer, coyote, bobcat, sick cattle, prairie dogs, squirrels

SKS (7.62x39mm, like a .30-30, but a little shorter case) deer, cattle, bobcat, coyote, prairie dogs, destructive escaped cow elk!

I took out a spikes leg with my dad's 30-30 for my first deer. Other than that's, it's been my 30.06

They all bring back a flood of memories,but my favorite of all time is my Sako 308. Bought it for 75.00 dollars new when i was in the military in Turkey. It is so lite and smooth. This is my deer gun.

This probably doesnt count, but my parnter uses a .270. I witnessed him taking a 4x4 muley as well as a doe with it.

30-30= Whitetails, hogs, foxes, a squirrel, a crow and when I was young with no regard for game laws a few turkeys.

I have a ruger stainless all weather and I have killed about 13 deer with it in 3 years all but 2 dropped in their tracks
