Default I was a little suprised!

I was on the way home tonight about 9:30 and saw two deer....... one looked like a doe a the other was a small eight pointer. I was a little suprised to see that the buck still had antlers. I guess they will shed when they get ready! I was just wondering if you seen any lately.

That's odd that you seen one with antlers on still because my father-in-law has two of them still with horns.one is a 6 and the other is a spiker. I'm going to try to get pics. of them for proof, because people thinks he's nuts.

Yeah, I have been shed hunting really hard here in the south western part of Pennsylvania and havn't found any yet. I guess my best friends uncle saw two bucks last week that still had their antlers on.

I don't think it has been cold enough or wet enough yet. This may be why they have not yet shed. We still are seeing racked bucks here in SW GA.

I've seen antlers on elk here in the pacific northwest as late as March before. Don't know how common that it is, but I was sure suprised about to see them.

I saw a moose this weekend that still had his antlers. We also began picking up some moose sheds the week after Christmas. Go figure.
