its really quite simple. You take a roll of toilet paper put it in a small coffee can and pore the alcohol over it until the can is full. The paper will soak it up and act as a wick. Then just stick a match to it. It wont flare up it will just slowly burn. When all the alcohol burns up just add some more to the same roll. Try it.

Yes, I have seen many deer stare at my stand for a few minutes and then run off scared when utilizing the propane heaters. I believe it is the hissing sound that frightens them. If it is still out, I won't use one.

mdbohuntr when all the alcohol burns up the fire goes out. lol then you add the alcohol.
