What do you prefer?

Corn on the cobb for deer or pure corn?

I bought 50lbs of corn for deer and this time I went with the one's that were still on the cobb. I used to use the 'regular' pure corn only, but thought I would give these a try.

Wat do you guys prefer? Is there any pro- cons or is it just CORN after all?

Thanks!

i usually mix mine up. ive had some does that wont touch the cobb and others that stand in the field like a kid with a popcicle. the cobb seems to keep the deer working for the food a little longer. good luck

Shelled corn works best for me but I think the squirrels and coons prefer corn on the cobb in my area. :D

Ok, I will give it a try. I figured the ones on the cobb would last longer as they worked for it!

Ive always used regular corn. I go to the local southern states and buy a 100 lb bag of shell corn. I've never tried corn on the cob but i know people who do. To keep the deer there for awhile and present some good shots i will scatter the corn really good. Take a hand full and just fling it everywhere, then they have to search for it and pick up a few kernels at a time. Just to experiment one time i poured about 5lbs in a pile in the woods, it was completely gone and the gournd was pawed up in like 12 hours.
