help finding warm orange hat
OK, after spending a few days in breezy 0 F in a tree stand last year, I'm looking for a warmer hat, but it's gotta be Blaze Orange.
What I'm looking for is a warm acrylic pile hat with ear flaps - two examples are the Columbia "Yazoo" hat or the Redhead "Yukon" hat. I have a columbia hat, and it's pretty much what I want (maybe a more silent shell material would be better), but it's not blaze, and I can't find one. I've searched locally as well as the web quite a bit. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! |

Yea, I've tried Cabelas, and they don't have "exactly" what I'm looking for. Thanks

I and 2 of my buddies use an "ELMER FUDD" style cap that we bought from Cabelas. They have fold down flaps, are insulated with thinsulate and have goretex as a waterproofer. Best hunting cap I have ever owned. We live and hunt in Ontario so we are exposed to some serious cold in November.

The desciption is Rabbit Bomber Hat ( Blaze Orange/natural fur) They don’t have a picture of this hat on there web page but you can order there cataloque to see what this hat looks like. Good luck....

Thanks much guys - getting very close to what my idea of a perfect hat would be!
If I was to find my perfect hat, it would be a blaze orange version of this: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...rch&hasJS=true But thanks for the ideas - obviously, some good choices if my perfect hat doesn't appear. |
