left hanging - yet again
 

For the last 4 years I have been hunting solo due to people backing out on their commitment to go hunting with me. I give them at least 6 months notice, and then something comes up. This has happened with both friends and family, and apears to already be happening this year. I dont mind hunting solo, but I kinda wonder if this also happens to the rest of you guys too.

I would rather hunt solo. Consider that your fortunes have changed....

I hunt solo for migratory game birds all the time. I would rather have it that way. My hunting partner is my uncle when it comes to deer hunting but if something was to happen that he couldn’t join me for deer hunting then I would go solo with out a doubt.

I had the same problem.
For years whether it was hunting or fishing We would plan a trip talk about and when it came time to plunk down the cash everyone had an excuse.
now I just do it on my owm and have more fun. I only have to worry or please myself.

I'm always having problems like this and not just hunting. I've just come to the conclusion that I'll be doing whatever it is by myself and if someone shows the more the merrier(except in bow hunting, then I prefer to be alone).

I pretty much hunt with my dad but our hunting party has been decreasing each year.

me and my uncle are die hard hunters..........we put everything on hold when it comes to hunting! My friends that want to hunt i tell them ill be leaving the house at whatever time if u wanna go, be there if your not there, i am NOT WAITING![:'(] My friend eric was suppose to go dove hunting this wednesday and he calls me last night and says he has to start school for his plumbing job............i told him i would start school the day after if it was me!:D Oh well, me and my uncle will be there.

YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO GETS LEFT HANGING.. I COUNT ON NOBODY ANYMORE . I DO ALOT OF HUNTING BUY MYSELF GOT USE TO IT AND LOVE IT I SEE MORE DEER NOW AND I ONLY HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MYSELF .I DONT NEED TO WAIT FOR SOMONE IN THE MORNING, TRYING TO WAKE SOMONE UP SEE IF THERE GOING .YOU BE BETTER OFF BUY YOURSELF OR FIND SOMEONE WHOS A DIE HARD LIKE YOU.

It's been that way for years with me so I went off and made my own partner! My son who's almost 9 loves to tag along and I love having him with me.......
