One buck rules

Can anyone tell me where I can find a website or page that details which states have a "One buck Rule" ?

A friend on another site says that most states have one , I say the states that do are in the minority . I would prefer a site or page that lists all states if possible , going to every F&G website would be a chore .

Thanks ! :)

PA & OH are one buck.

I think NY is as well.

WV is NOT!

I don't know if there is a place to find exactly what you're looking for, but you can access all the states game commissions or DNR's via the web.

Indiana is a 1 buck state as well. Outdoor life may have something on this subject.

NH is 1 buck
Maine is 1 buck unless you hunt an extended archery zone (2 small zones in the state) and then a second can be be taken but only by means of bow and arrow and only in the EA zone

In Texas it's broken down by county. We have several 1 buck areas.

Also the county in Arkansas (Baxter/Stone) I hunt is 1 buck.

Here in Texas it depends on the county. There are 3 buck counties, 2 buck counties, and 1 buck counties.

Arkansas has areas that are one buck and areas that are two bucks. (I'm in the 2 buck area:D). Also, in Mississippi you can kill multiple bucks. You can kill 2 in Illinois with a archery and a shotgun tag. That's the only ones that I know for sure.

Minnesota is one buck but in many zones you can purchase extra antlerless tags.

I don't know if there is a site that would list every state. In WI get a buck tag for gun and an either sex for bow. In some parts CWD you can earn a buck tag for every doe you shoot. Other parts are earn a buck even for gun. Overall WI is a mess to try to figure out. You almost need to check every time you change tree stands.[:'(]

Out west there are only a few limited circumstances where MORE than one buck (or deer for that matter) can be taken in one season.

NY is two bucks. One with primative weapons and one during regular gun season.

Jersey is 6 bucks---which actually is way too many even though most guys never kill that many. OH, it's also a doe a day. Welcome to the killing fields.

RE: One buck rules

NY is one buck durig gun season and one during bow or muzzleloader, not both. So technically you can get two bucks.
