What deer hunting experience made you maddest?

What experience have you had while deer hunting that made you "madder than three wet hens?" Was it that missed buck? Forgot your ammo? Other hunters? Losing a deer? Come on...don't be bashful...tell us.

Waiting to hear it,

While on a WMA "youth-only" hunt, my son and I were calling a buck across a road. Along comes a truck and the diver(the father) shoots the buck from his driver's seat and the son tagged it.

Lets see here which time do you want. 1. I was just about to squezze the trigger on this nice 8 pointer and all of a sudden a guy come right in front of me on his 4 wheeler spooks the deer off and pi**es me off so bad that i wanted to shot shoot him instead.

Let the little ones walk to be a monster buck.

A few years back my brother and I went bowhunting one evening. On our way there he told me he had to get back to town by a certain time, since he had some type of engagement with his girlfriend(his wife now) and her parents. I wasn't to happy to hear I'd have to get out of my stand with 10 minutes of shooting light left...letta lone during the first week of November. Well,at 5:30, I let my bow down and then dropped my bow rope...not 10 seconds after my rope hit the ground, I heard a deep grunt...I looked up and here came the biggest typical whitetail I have ever seen while hunting. He was a heavy 6x6 w/a massive body....and he stopped broadside 10 yards from my tree and work over this sapling ...all I could do is stand there and watch. To say that I was po'd, would be the understatement of the century. I was mad at myself for being stupid enough to drop my bow rope AND my brother....he's gonna here it from me for the rest of his life! November 1,1996...5:30 pm...temp. 2 degrees...wind NW 5-10 mph...I think about that hunt every time I go on stand.

prob would be a guy puting his unmovable treestand no more the 3 feet off my prop. and only 15 paces from my permant stand and puting bait piles on my prop. I had a fun time sitting next to the guy all season. what a ....... the bait pile was only 4 feet from the ladder to my stand.

Greets,
Easy one here, about 4 years ago my buddy and I were hunting a particular clearcut on public logging land. we got it before daylight, set up in different places on the feild to maximize coverage and waited. We'd seen deer in here before and knew we hads a good chance. Around 740 am, my buddy is glassing this group of deer, 3 or 4 at about 400 yards out, and currently across the logging road from us, but headed right in to our area. Along comes the guy who gives all hunters ablack eye. While driving his 4X4 pickup up the road he sees the deer, hasn't even stopped the truck as he sticks his rifle out the window and blows the buck away..
We were so disgusted we packed it in for the day.
