a few years ago i decided to try to hunt a wma down the road from where i live, got up crack of dawn, go to the woodz go set up, sitting there in my climbing stand, been sitting before day light, about a hour later around 7:30am a hunter comes along a put his climber on a tree not even 50 yards from me, he neer even saw me. i just let it go and climbed down got my stand off the tree and left. i think he knew he pissed me off and havent been back since. im glad i belong to a club..

pushed a swamp for a friend, never took the rifle from off my sling, 2 feet of water, briars, thorns and list went on, bleeding,sweating like a pig. pushed a big blacktail out in front of the friend. "thought, there ya go, you finally get one" waited...no shot, still no shot.. screw it. i head out of the swamp the rest of the way. followed the tracks and finally found dry ground. followed them right up to my friend who was sound asleep.
i didnt even wake him, walked out started the truck and left. he called later that night.
