One of my friends is from the piney woods region of East Texas and he swears the deer there taste better than the deer from South Texas that eat mesquite and cacti. I can't tell the difference between the two.

I eat deer becuase i like the taste of it, if we grew up on venison and not beef, would we be able to tell the difference in beef? I think it all taste the same.............unless of course u get a bad deer and a bad butcher.
