Bread

Thats right Bread. Has anyone ever used or seen this. Last night while coming home from dinner I spotted some deer grazing on a knoll leading to an old castle and shooting range for the sheriff's dept. where I live, Only 1/2 mile from my house. Anyway I told my wife to turn around and drive up slowly. They just meandered off. Then I noticed about four more to the left and saw they were eating bread tossed by some guy on the ridge top, about 80 yds away. Could be a new way of baiting, just toss your sandwich out of the stand.:D

Maybe it's a territorial thing, as I was talking about the castle/museum on Valley Rd.:)

I have a friend who pops kettle corn at fairs and such. He takes the popcorn he doesn't sell and scatters it out for the deer. he says they eat it up like crazy, turkeys like it too.
