Lets see...

Combo hunt and fish... $54
Upland Game Stamp...$10
Trout Stamp...$10
Applications for deer, antelope, elk, bighorn(3 species), and mountain goat...$120
Cost of Deer tag...$25
Waterfowl stamps...$26 (I think that is what it is this year)
Turkey tag and application fee...$40 (this past spring, didn't get to hunt)

That was for Nevada.

Wyoming Elk license application fee (didn't draw)...$10
Utah Elk application fee (didn't draw)...$5

All of that and all I get to hunt is one deer this year, plus waterfowl and upland birds, and small game.

So, that comes to...$280, and thats if I don't go to Wyoming to hunt some antelope, If I do, add another $140 for the license plus $10 for the conservation stamp.

I bet I am fixin to make some of you guys jealous. The state of Louisiana was kind enough to provide me with basic hunting, big game, muzzle loader, archery, water fowl, migratory bird, basic fishing, and saltwater all for the enormous price of .....$5. It seems someone in the state government decided that military residents shouldn't have to pay full price and I for one really appreciate it.

In Texas I buy the "super combo" for $50 it includes:

1 mule deer buck
1 mule deer doe
3 whitetail buck
2 whitetail doe
4 turkey
2 javelina(but we dont have tags)
unlimited hogs
unlimited exotics
predators/squirrel/rabbit etc.
freshwater fishing
saltwater fishing
quail/dove

I also get the following stamps:

muzzleloader
bow hunting
whitewing
some other stamp I cant think of

And the lic. allows me to hunt every season. So from mid september-end of January I am deer hunting. Nonresidents can get the exact same lic. for $250. Not a bad deal.
