Can you score a button buck?

If you could call the main beams 1 inch a piece with about 1 inch circum. around the base and maybe a 4 inch spread? Would it be about 8" B&C? I think the deductions would be rather low:D.

Score does sound right to me. Last year i seen a site that actually scored does. They used weight and different circumfrences on the body.

I thought a button buck refered to the two knots (bumps) on a young bucks head prior to the antler breaking through the skin. No antler, no way to count anything.

The antler on a button buck in December is through the skin. They look like bumps because they make the hair around them stick straight up. They are, however, two little anlters that are about the size and shape of Hershey Kisses.

Unless you were starving to death, why in the hell would you shoot a button buck? Makes no sense.

This post isn't meant to be taken all that seriously. It's more for fun and for curiousity-sake. I think most buttons are shot by accident as does. I don't think anyone purposely seeks out a button - especially to score:D.

You dont see many people walking around bragging about that monster buck they just shot that had 2" of spread credit and still managed to score 0 b&c. :D

My question is what the heck are you doing shooting a button buck?!?! Not to mention attempting to even "score" one??? Can we say he will score nada in unison? Sheesh![:@] [&o]:(

Not trying to attack you as buttons are legal in WV during doe season. It is a practice that I personally do not agree with and just my opinion. We all know what those are like. If it is legal for you, and you are comfortable with it.........
