What food plot seed have you tried and had success with?
I would like to know what type of food plot seed people in this forum use the most. I personally like the Whitetail Institues Imperial Clover and Secret Spot. I have also planted this year Tecomate LabLab peas, Biologic Maximum, Tecomate Chicory. All are growing real well. Now I haven't hunted this area yet with this food plot but I was curious as to what other hunters believe works best for them especially those who live here in the Midwest.

I've planted most of them and none of them work better than taking a bag of wheat and pouring it out in a line about 50 yards long. You don't have to plow or nothing and the wheat comes up and the deer eat it.

Over the past 3 years I've planted: Honey Hole, Imperial Clover, Biologic, Whitcomb's Mix and plain rapeseed. The Honey Hole and Whitecombs Mix came up the best. Imperial clover took alittle while but ended up great and the deer loved it. The Whitecomb's Mix was best overall because the mix had something the deer targeted all season.
The plots were planted in central MN.
