Cal....as already stated we do have lots of deer here in NC as well as other game (turkeys, bear, hogs) to hunt and the bag limits allows you to put plenty of meat in the freezer. Regardless to what alot of people think there are also some really nice bucks here in NC that anyone would consider a trophy if they were to be fortunate enough to harvest one. What one person doesn't consider a trophy may be the buck of a lifetime to another. We also have good small game hunting as well as good fishing. Good luck in your decision!
