After walking through all of the jaggers, thickets and pine stands I could find today, I finally found my first shed ever. I found it on the way out to the truck on a wide open power line. Go figure. It is not huge and I didn't find the match, but I'm happy.

congratulations, last spring, me,my dad, and my brothers searched or woods for sheds. we found 2 in one day. and they were the same deer!!!! and check this out, that fall deer season, my dad shot that 8 pointer with the rifle.

I have not been out "shed hunting" but Ihave not found any turkey hunting either.

Congrats. Looks like he will be nice this year. I found my first one this spring while plowing up the soil for a food plot. Almost hit it with the atv. It is about like the one you found. I will be looking for him on the trail camera this summer, and of course in the bow stand this fall.
