I was just wondering what your thoughts were on the best bait to use for deer or turkeys.

Have you ever tried peanut butter ? It makes a good lick. You can put a big glob of it in the foot of a womans stocking and hang it from a tree. Deer like it .

For deer, I had more luck with apples than anything else.

I scoff. You wanna feed'em or fool'em? Not that I wouldn't hunt over a food source, just not gonna serve it up to them.

It's illegal to hunt over bait in PA. However, many people bait an area that they want to take trail cam photos of just for the pictures.
