bucks with new antlers already!
 

There was a picture in sat. paper of deer eating from a bird feeder. 1 buck had golf ball size nubs on his head the other had 3-4'' beams already. The photo was new as there was 2'' of snow on the ground that we got last week. 2 bad the deer are in city limits. that 1 buck should be a big 1.

I have yet to see a buck with visibale horns yet but it should be soon!!!

Antlers already!! we are still shedding here lol.. a few must still have antlers here in sask yet, i found a set of sheds underneath one of our grain bins on sunday that weren't there on saturday so the odd one must still be sportin the rack. Quite a wide time range for shedding, i found my first set on December 28th and my latest one this weekend.

my parents here in vt have been feeding the deer all winter, and when they come in i would but the binos on them. i have seen, in the same group of deer, spots where i would say antlers have fallen from on the larger deer, yet looking at the smaller guys, some have a nice jump on their racks, golf ball size on one's head, a little smaller on the other bb's. i want the golf ball one, i call him "blondie" i have never seen a coat as blonde as his, and he still has two strpis, one on each side of his back, of spots, believe it or nor. he is just a little too bold for his own good, hopefully going to discover in oct. the business end of an arrow.

It's funny how different things can be in different places. My buddy saw 3 bucks together last week in his backyard. All still had BOTH antlers.
