im new at shed hunting. what areas should i look at specifically or what are the best areas to look

Well........your not going to find any sheds if you keep killing monsters Like that:D:D

But if you still want to look - check out feeding, bedding, and travel routes - In other words they can really be anywhere!

as rack said trails between bedding and feeding areas trails where they have to jump fence or other obstacle that sometimes will jar the antler loose. just get out there and walk walk walk walk

'Nother thing I can reccommend is if you wanna go do some shed hunting in an area with snow, invest in a pair of snowshoes. Thats the big difference between a fun day out in the field and a day that is just plain aggrivating.
