ORIGINAL: KoBear i am the only one on here at 1:08 pm on Feb. 21?? where is everybody??? We've had a very wet winter down here! If I get these little jobs out of the way, I'll be ready when the fish start biting! Things have been slow on these boards though! I wonder where everyone else has been? |

JagMagMan is right about this part of the country.
I finally got a day off from work, and tried to move some dirt with the tractor. I buried the tractor to the frame in the wet mud, and used my Bronco and a come-along to pull it out. At least I got to use my hunting truck. C. Davis |

Kobear gimmie a break; I just got back from harvesting a roadkill! I'm curious as to whether deer taste any different than when they are in their prime, during hunting season. The fat looks much different, not as white and almost granular. The deer in the northeast have had a tough time of it, but he are surviving.

RE: Another sad day for hunting
Felt like spring here earlier this week. Got into the mid 40's. Last night (Friday) got freezing rain and 3 inches of snow. Doesn't feel like spring anymore:(.
