Default CBS News Tonight (Tue. 17 Feb)

I saw at noon today that CBS is going to have a story on deer populations and how to control it. They showed a quick clip of a buck getting netted. That should be real entertaining. Now if I can remember to watch! Just thought I'd let you know.

Knowing CBS' history of reporting, I'm getting angry already. I have a feeling I'll be shooting off a few emails to them tonight, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Pretty interesting but they fail to releize that there are bowhunters. Tomorrow will be interesting also as they look at the mountain lion and the dangers it presents.

After watching the CBS news story I have to say that like I thought they
would they took a problem and made it look epidemic. Deer are only
a problem in areas that don't allow hunting. I just had to roll my eyes
when they were talking about car accidents with deer. Saying that the
deer don't care about the injuries to people. I don't know
about you guys but where I live deer are not a problem. I credit hunting
for that. Atleast it wasn't anti hunting but it did not promote it either. This
is what you get when too many homes take away woodlands and animals
are forced to find food wherever possible.
