They can be a big problem. They are direct competition with deer for food, and the deer dont like to be around them. I have seen them run deer out of an area. I would suggest trapping them if legal in your area.

to cold where I live but I sure would not mind hunting them I think hunting and selling the meat would help you up north here people would not turn down some bacon wish I could help clean out some of them for you <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

hogs here in Georgia are very plentiful. I have been watching deer before and had hogs come in and the deer blow and run off. Guess what happens next.............

I'm with Pork Chop buddy. Mash 'em. They are no friend to the deer. There is no season or limit on feral hogs in GA. We see 'em, we mash 'em.
Ya'll got to learn how make BBQ and hash. That will take care of hog problem!

One fella touched on the key issue. Land can only sustain a certain amount of game, both in terms of habitat and food. Since the hogs multiply so rapidly, they will soon pressure the deer out of there, in addition to all the other problems of hogs.

We are going hog hunting today, population control. However, we also like to eat them.

Only two types of land owners in the state of Texas, Those with hogs and those who will have hogs.
Just look up problem in Websters Dictionary and you will see a picture of a hog.
