Thats what i said when i saw the picture myself, i called and asked when he emailed me the picture and he said it wasn't but sure looks like it to me, the deer only ran 20 yards after the shot

nice lookin buck. must of been quartering to or away extremely....... or it deflected off of something. i have seen that happen with smaller calibers and far distances. very nice buck thouh. shows that you can kill a good buck after the rut is over.
