need input on new shotgun
 

will be buying a Deer/Turkey shotgun shortly. Any input as to what brand/model ?

i don't think it's possible to go wrong with a Remmington 870.

Bennili is a darn good gun too. I'm kinda partial to my Berretta.

if you don't want to spend alot of $$$$ look at the mossberg 835 pump combo!! chambered for 3.5" shells, comes with a few different chokes, and also comes with 2 barrles, one for the chokes, and one rifled/cantilever barrel. i have one for a few years, never got around to use it for turkey, i've used it for deer excellent groups with the Lightfeild 3.5" slugs.

thanks for the input , I bought an H&R slug gun a few months ago and need something for turkey & deer when I cant use the slug gun.

This is like ford versus chevy---

For many years i have shot a 1300 ranger by Win.

very good gun -- will take 3" or 2 3/4". can buy a rifled barrel or smoothbore with chokes. I shoot a smoothbore with chokes. the sabot choke is very acc. it will shoot turkey loads good, and it doesn't kick like an 870.
I also have shot a mossberg--good gun also.

Remington 870 express super mag. thatll shoot a 3.5 inch shell and its indestructible

I second the 870 Express Mag/Super Mag. You can swap barrels easily, so you'll be covered as far as deer and turkey.

Defenatly go with the Remington 870 express 12 ga :D Im my opinoin there is no better pump gun.And they wont cost a fourton!!!
