I'm new to the forum. I'm looking for a place to hunt deer in Central NC that isn't necessarily public game-management land. I prefer to hunt private land or join a hunting club. I have approached land-owners/farmers, albeit unsuccessfully, attempting to pursuade them to allow me to hunt on their property. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. I'm from NC but i live and hunt in the southeastern part of the state and know very little about the central part. You may get a better response if you move your post over to the regional section and post it under "south". Also if you get the chance visit the talk forums at www.ncdeer.com and you may find the information there that you're looking for. There's a good bunch of folks there and other than here thats the only other forum i visit mainly because i live in NC. I go by the name Guybo at ncdeer. Good luck!
