Got an 8 Pt this afternoon (PIC)
 

Was invited by a friend to a new place today. This ole boy eased into the field around 4:30 (35 mins prior to sunset) and was the first and only deer I saw. I didn't think to long about taking him either. Was about 50-60 yards. Shot him with my 30-06. He went about 40 yards in the woods. I suspect he is a 2 1/2 year old. Not very heavy 125 lbs. but he is my trophy for the year!!
