Finding Sheds from deer.

Last sunday I found a matching set of Axis Sheds at 26". This is a pretty good stag as far as I'm concerned. I found out that finding those sheds to me was just as much of a trophy as if I was to harvest one.

So based on my experience I think I want to train a lab or some other dog to help me in my search for sheds.

Does anyone have a proven way to train a dog to hunt sheds and would the dog bother the deer to much in the off season?
