How do you find your stand early in the morning?

RE: How do you find your stand early in the morning?
When I first put up my stand I used tacks but over the years I have learned every twist and turn into my stand , most of the tacks are gone and I don't need them any more. I made my own from regular thumb tacks and strips of reflective tape, They were a lot cheaper than the ready made ones and worked better. The red reflective is not very noticable in the daylight against the dark bark of a tree, as compared to the store bought white ones, and it shows up well in the dark when shone with a light. As I hunt on public land I don't want a 4 lane express route into my stand , the fewer people who know where it is the better.

The boys built me a one man huntin' cabin in the woods and installed a "Clap on - Clap off" light. I just clap once and walk toward the light.

Man I like that idea! Why didin't I think of that?
At last......a practical use for my "clapper"!

Tacks and flashlight. Trails made by broken branches (brushy areas), leaning limbs like mentioned above. I could find some stands in the dark, except I've heard stories of people getting shot at by idiots before daylight so I don't do that too much.

Oh, my deer Mr. AJ (this assumption due to your comment, 'my wife) you have broken your own rule of conduct ( for which you have so adequately chastised others)by taking the position of assumption to presume I had faultered in my attempt to communicate, therefore the assumed requirement of your correction.
Your understanding of my statement is incorrect, much to my disappointment. I feel the statement is complete, accurate and true.
The explanation of my statement: At my age one is always going "toward" a goal and hopeful said one is blessed with the time and strength to attain that goal. Therefore I stand by my statement.
I am not, by any means, presenting a corrective statement but an explanation.
This dissertation is presented in an effort to alleviate any undue anxiety you may have felt, pertaining to your perception of my accuracy of grammar that may have been presented by the assumption I have failed to properly communicate my thaught, requiring the presentation your correction.
I do appreciate your concern for accuracy and recognition that I did, in fact, make a statement.
I hereby consider the matter closed and we temporarily part as friends.
