I've spent about $600 on equipment last year and it looks like all for nothing. Mabey it wont go to waist next season.

Arrows - $85

Bow string - $50
coveralls - $180
Jacket/Pants/Headnet/Gloves - $270
Rubber boots - $80
Miscellaneous archery things - $100

I think that's everything but I'm sure I missed something. And I thought I didn't spend much on hunting this year.

This year I spent the most I've ever spent, which is about $200 mainly because I took a hunting trip to Western Kansas for Mule Deer. But in the past I don't think I ever spend more than $100 total, including licenses and everything. I've never had to spend a huge amount of money to hunt.

Well seeing as how I have to go to the mainland to hunt...and this costs 40 bucks a trip...not including gas which is another 40 and i make on average 1 trip/week thoughout the year for scouting set-up etc......I'm looking at 4 Grand right off the top..just to drive there. Once I'm there, costs are minimal naturally, but with license, ammo, food, and a myriad of other expenses, and the odd trip away by plane...I'd say I'm looking at an average of about $10,000 per year. Acceptable. S
