I once put the dogs food bowl on my old carport to keep it out of the rain. One night I stepped outside for a smoke and almost left a warm pile behind me when the deer and I scared the @%#$ out of each other.

So yes, deer will eat dog food. However, I can get 100 lbs. of corn for $8.00 compared to 50 lbs. of dog food about $15.00. You do the math. Last year I put out a minimum of 3000 lbs. of corn. I will do about the same, maybe more this year.
